We are incredibly excited for another fun-filled and delicious festive season. We’ll have our famous Christmas lights shining bright and will be dishing up our local luxury take on the most wonderful time of the year. We have Festive Dining packages available seven days a week, along with community events, boutique hotel stays, private functions in The Club Room and mulled wine on our newly refurbished (and heated!) Terrace.

Festive party
It’s our favourite time of the year, and we know how to throw a Festive party! Whether you are gathering friends and family or organising your work Christmas party, Black Ivy has something for everyone. Our Festive menu includes all the traditional favourites, including Turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas Pudding for dessert. Nobody does Christmas quite like we do!

PRE THEATRE PANTO
We are delighted to welcome The Edinburgh Christmas Panto back to the neighbourhood, and back to The King’s Theatre where it belongs!
The Adventures of Pinocchio is taking the stage from Sat 28th Nov – Sun 17th Jan, and we are ready to provide the perfect pre and post panto experience at Black Ivy! With Festive packages suitable for the whole family (kids menu incldied), so everyone can enjoy Turkey with all the trimmings, Christmas cocktails, mulled wine in Santa’s Snug under the twinkling lights and so much more.
We have opened our diary early this year so you can enjoy your festive meal with us anytime from 11am, to ensure you have plenty of time to dine before the matinee performance and can make the most of your day out!

FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA
This package is available to book anytime from 12pm–3pm on Monday to Thursday throughout December.
Our Festive Afternoon Tea package is £38 per person and includes a selection of freshly made sandwiches, homemade scones with jam & cream, mini sweets treats, cupcakes, a glass of festive fizz or Christmas cocktail, and your choice of tea and coffee, all with a Festive twist to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year! Must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
BOXING DAY BOOZY BRUNCH
Boxing Day is a real fixture in the Black Ivy calendar and not to be missed. This year we are hosting a Boozy Brunch, soundtracked by a DJ from 12pm, with a £45 per person package that includes a Mimosa on arrival, continental sharing board, a brunch dish of your choice plus three additional brunch cocktails with a Festive twist. Make sure to book in advance to guarantee a spot right in the action, and enjoy the Live DJ and Black Ivy Boxing Day party atmosphere!
