FAQs
Are dogs welcome?
You are more than welcome to bring a dog along with you for your overnight stay. We are super dog friendly here at Black Ivy, and dogs are welcome in our restaurant, bar, outdoor terrace as well as the rooms. Please note that dogs must always be kept on a lead when in public spaces and must not be left in the room alone. We have water bowls and beds available upon request
Can I book a room for two adults plus a child?
Yes, our Deluxe Double Rooms and Park View Suites are suitable to have a rollaway bed for a child 12 or younger. There is an additional charge of £30 per night for this. Travel cots can be provided for infants at no additional cost
We are visiting for a special occasion, what can you offer?
We have lots of options to help make your stay even more special. We can organise to have flowers, balloons or bottles of wine/fizz in the room for your arrival. If you would like to find out more about the options we have, please contact our hotel team by emailing stay@blackivyrooms.com
Do you have any accessible rooms?
We have one room that is semi accessible at Black Ivy. Due to the layout of the building, we have one lift that can access some of our rooms but not all rooms. One of the rooms with lift access is also designed with an accessible bathroom including a walk in shower and hand rails. If you have any specific needs for an accessible room, please contact our team and we can offer advice on the best options available.

As well as having 22 bedrooms, Black Ivy is also home to a lively bar, dining area and park view outdoor terrace open and serving drinks until 1am every night of the week. While we can take requests for quieter room options, this can never be guaranteed.
What time is check in and check out?
Check in is from 3pm and check out is at 11am. We can take note of any requests for an early check-in but wouldn’t be able to guarantee this in advance, however you would be welcome to leave any bags with us on the day of arrival.
