So you may remember the competition we ran to win THE BEST JOB EVER, which saw a lucky local win the chance to be our Tank Beer Tester. Well it was won by a charming chap name Alex and the good folk at Innis & Gunn, who supply the awesome fresh beer for our tank, recently took him to brew his very own Christmas beer.
Alex hooked up with the Innis & Gunn team over at their Glasgow Microbrewery and got his sleeves rolled up to really get stuck in with the process. He got his brew on and the result is an awesome Spiced IPA, which we’re delighted to say is now on sale at Black Ivy!
The beer itself is a smooth, well balanced number with pleasant hoppiness, some festive spice and a lovely long finish. Well done Alex!
